September 2013, sees the launch of this unique BR03-51 GMT collaboration with London based The Watch Gallery.
This 50 piece limited edition uses the new released GMT, the orange accented version which B&R released at Basel earlier this year, has “Blue” accents, TWG trade mark colour.
We have seen several versions of the GMT, an earlier BR03 Titanium bodied version from and a BR01 PVD cased version from 2009, but these are the first PVD BR03 cased watches

Bell & Ross has always been inspired by aeronautical instrumentation and by the plane as an object. From the first timepieces this has nurtured the development of collections based on two focuses.
Firstly, aeronautical instrumentation, specifically that of the instrumentation panel, resulting in the AVIATION Collection.
Secondly, the evocation of key eras in the history of aviation, with the development of pilots’ watches in the VINTAGE Collection.
The iconic BR 01 AVIATION collection is inspired by aircraft cockpits and addresses Bell & Ross’s four fundamental principles: legibility, functionality, precision and water-resistance.
In 2013, for the benefit of pilots and frequent travellers, the Bell & Ross designers created the BR03 42mm model with a very useful feature for traveling: a second time zone display.

NEW BR 03-51 GMT CARBON
• Dual Time Zone
• Optimum Legibility
The GMT (Greenwich Mean Time) function displays the time at two points on the globe. On the main dial, the white hands indicate the time in the country you are in, while in the counter at 6 o’clock, the blue hand indicates the time in your home country.
The large white photoluminescent numerals and the blue GMT time hand contrast with the black of the dial for perfect legibility.
The BR 03-51 GMT CARBON is the vital tool for long-haul travellers and the modern man.

So Adrian, you are the Director of Buying and Merchandising, tell me, what does your Job entail?!
My job is to select the best ranges and products with the aim of creating the most compelling offer for my customers and in turn nurturing a mutually beneficial relationship with all watch brands. There is a fair bit of negotiation involved as well as controlling stock flow all the while.
Please tell me how you came to do a collaboration with Bell & Ross, your reasons?
From the outset, the similarities between The Watch Gallery and Bell & Ross were obvious.
We are both independent companies with very strong visions, therefore a collaboration was inevitable.
The Watch Gallery customer is very much the Bell & Ross customer and as soon as we started discussing the idea of a working together, it became evident that we were both sharing pretty similar values. Bell & Ross truly is “the cool kid” of the watch world and of course any influence that can have on The Watch Gallery can only be a good thing.
We pride ourselves on always presenting variety to our customers and Bell & Ross never fail to bring a fresh, contemporary dynamic to the table.
A couple of trips to Paris and a Basel fair later, our limited edition was born.
The new PVD GMT was an interesting choice, but why this particular model? The PVD coating truly epitomises Bell & Ross- it’s part of their DNA. We humbly injected our blue into it to give it what we hope would be an instantly recognisable look. The GMT is such a practical function. No fuss- maximum efficiency. Whether as an international traveller who uses the function regularly, or someone who just enjoys the aesthetic of it, owning this watch will set you apart from others and will be worn with the knowledge that it is one of a unique edition of 50. Pretty cool stuff!
Which style or models of B&R sell best for you?
Our ultimate best seller is the BR03. It’s the square 42MM case shape, which the limited edition is based on.
We always listen to our customers needs, all the while trying to surprise and excite them.
If I may ask, what is your favourite watch in the B&R camp?!
I would say our limited edition but in truth I’ve been wearing a BR03 92 carbon on a rubber strap for years now and still love it.
I’ve worn the watch for job interviews, weddings, functions and throughout the years it’s always received much admiration.
The watch is 100m water resistant and though I’ve never tested that I can guarantee you it’s beer, festival and party proof.
In short, it’s the ultimate everyday watch.
Please tell me a little bit about TWG/DMLondon?
DML London was created in 2006 and is originally the watch concessioner for Selfridges.
Over the years we have developed our own network of stores, The Watch Gallery for fine watches and The Watch Hut for designer watches.
On top of that, we operate 2 Rolex boutiques in London, including the one located in One Hyde Park in Knightsbridge, which is the largest in Europe.
We are also in partnership with John Lewis and are the watch partner for ASOS.
Do you have any future plans with B&R?!
We plan to continue to develop and strengthen our relationship with Bell & Ross.
I could give you an insight into our future plans but what would be the fun in that!
