The New Bell & Ross stand at Baselworld 2013.

The conference and exhibitions centre at Basel has been updated and enlarged for 2013, meaning that many of the stands, certainly on Hall 1, have been enlarged and redesigned, including the B&R stand.

….All guests have to announce their arrival and confirm their appointments to a very welcoming and professional team at the reception of the stand.

…a first this year for B&R, was to bring their Thunderstreak “The Red Falcon” cockpit to the show! This fantastic cockpit of a real 1950’s aircraft usually sits in the brand entrance to the Paris HQ, was shipped to Basel for the new stand. A strong reference to the Flight Instruments and the DNA of the brand. Many watch companies talk about or make reference to Aircraft and planes in general, but B&R always honours its “Cockpit” inspiration.
This was clearly demonstrated with this great addition.
The floor area alone has increased dramatically by 50%, so the lounge areas are bigger, with more meeting rooms and private areas.

…the history and the story of the watches adorns the walls of the stand, allowing guests to visually see and understand the Bell & Ross story.
Several bar areas also, for guests and friends to relax and socialise too…

…also new this year on the stand, was the inclusion of one large lounge/entertaining area, which could be used as one large room opening out to the front on the stand, screened off for one private lounge and also then divided into two smaller rooms.
References and memorabilia was also present, focusing on Aviation history and reference to the past and present collections of B&R watches. A great touch and one that allows the guest to gain more knowledge and understanding of the brand and its values.

…the SIX newest “Flight Instruments” elegantly displayed in their case within the walls of the stand. With the three instruments released in 2012, being the Horizon, Altimeter and Turn Coordinator, take their place with the 2013 releases Heading Indicator, Airspeed and Climb, completing the story of the cockpit instrument. The BR01 Limited Editions, now complete. Either bought individually, or as a collection, with matching numbers serial numbers on collections numbered 1-99, if wished!

…reference of the Pilot lit up on the outside of the stand.

...The Sport Heritage, Falcon and Golden Heritage on display in the lounge. New releases for the 2013 Baselworld.
I hope that my introduction to the B&R stand has given you an idea of how it looks and the atmosphere that has been created, and hopefully you now feel that you have almost visited it for yourselves!
Certainly more to come………….
Thanks for viewing.
