Band of BRothers

Over a year since I last visited Paris and exactly to the day, 22/11, I left Bell & Ross, for new ventures.

So after leaving my very comfortable and quick hop across the pond by Airfrance from LHW too CDG Airport, as opposed to my usual method of transport to Paris, the Eurostar, I left ready for downtown Paris!
I arrived back on very familiar ground. Mixed emotions of excitement, nostalgia and sadness whilst I rode the SNCF.

I was greeted by Looping and Nemath and carried on where we had left since I last saw them both over a year ago, shows that true friendships carry on over time.
Some serious conversations, light hearted chit-chat and some laughs later and I was set up for my short and exciting stay. I had been invited to one of the famous “Brgang” GTG’s!

22/11, the morning of, and the GTG fast approaches.
I met with a few Paneristi at the new Parisian Boutique, which looked fantastic, very chic, quiet Italian!
Good to see some enthusiastic guys pouring over their favored brand, discussing differences between the models and the straps that adorn them!

Then onto our lunchtime venue and the beginning of our GTG. We gathered at the “Le Louvre Ripaille” for some good food and wine.
Always great to see old friends, and a few surprised faces!

On to Salon Belles Montres at the Louvre.
B&R welcomed us in the VIP lounge for chats and drinks.
Antonin offered a prize for the best photo at the show...

The B&R booth at Belles Mounters, always looks great. The show seems to have changed since my last visit in 2012, not so many well known brands...

The Bike, now seen in Basel, London and Paris!

Our evening dinner, was at a great restaurant close to where JB lives, “Le Petit Verdot” I had the pleasure of dining there the evening before, and the Beef tartare and creme brule were sublime!
More good food and wine...

Yes, despite my limited French vocab, even I understand the passion, its a common language to me!

I would like to thanks JB and Mathieu for looking after me on my trip and inviting me along to this Brgang GTG!
Thanks to Antonin for his hospitality...
A great “Band of BRothers”, with lots of passions in life, from all parts of France, different lives but brought together by one common factor, a Watch Brand...my passion hasn’t gone, its just changed and its fantastic to have witnessed and experienced this as a fan, and not as a paid representative of the brand! ;)
Vive Le Bell & Ross
Merci beaucoup mes amis
